A quick reminder that “The Little Prince” premieres tomorrow, Friday, on Netflix U.S. The movie will also be released in selected theaters in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Apart from a stellar cast (Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Benicio Del Toro, Ricky Gervais and more) retelling the 1943 story of “The Little Prince“, the movie, as of now, also scores a high 96% on rotten tomatoes, making it certified “Fresh”. It also scores high on Metacritics with a rating of 72!

Rachel, who voices The Mother in the movie, believes the movie has received such high praise because of its emotional intensity and the fact it pays such close homage to the original book.

“The Little Prince does a fantastic job of celebrating life’s mysteries,” she says. “When we grow up, it’s easy to need an answer for every question. Just like the book, the movie pays attention to the importance of enjoying the journey and our relationships, and not necessarily understanding everything. It all circles back to the famous quote from the book, which is ‘What is essential is invisible to the eye’.”
