Rachel has joined the cast of “Sonic Sea” where she narrates the 60-minute documentary about the underwater noise pollution that impacts the sea.

The film tells the story of Ken Balcomb, a former US Navy officer who solved a tragic mystery of mass stranding of whales around the world. In exploring how this came to be he changed the way we understand our impact on the ocean.

Alongside Rachel, the documentary features interviews with renowned ocean experts Dr. Sylvia Earle, Dr. Paul Spong, Dr. Christopher Clark and Jean-Michel Cousteau as well as musician, human rights and environmental activist, Sting. “Sonic Sea” is directed by Michelle Dougherty and Daniel Hinerfeld.
