Deadline is reporting that Sony/Columbia/Regency has set a Christmas 2014 release for the still Untitled Cameron Crowe/Hawaii Project. Rachel stars alongside Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, and John Krasinski. The movie wrapped up filming last year in Hawaii.
Columbia Pictures and Regency Enterprises have marked out a December 25, 2014 release date for their untitled Cameron Crowe film, which stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin. Scott Rudin is producing with Crowe, who wrote and directed the romantic comedy. There’s still no title, but the plot centers on a defense contractor (Cooper) who falls for an Air Force pilot (Stone) after he is assigned to oversee the launch of a weapons satellite from Hawaii.
The movie will be up against “Hot Tub Time Machine 2″, “Into the Woods”, and “Unbroken” according to Box Office Mojo.

Reuters published part of the Q&A with the cast and director Anton Corbijn after the Sundance screening, which can be found in our press archive. The full Q&A session can be watched in our media archive. Director Corbijn spoke to The Wall Street Journal and revealed the studios are aiming for a fall 2014 release:
Corbijn says “A Most Wanted Man,” which is being released by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions, is expected to open sometime this fall. “The film has a very autumnal look,” said Corbijn, “so the opening should appropriately be in the autumn, maybe September-ish.”
Speaking of movie releases: North Easy is reporting in their interview with Rachel’s Untilted Cameron Crowe Project co-star Danielle Russell that the movie is “expected to be released later this year before Thanksgiving”. If both reports are true that would mean that Rachel has two movies coming out this fall: “A Most Wanted Man” and the still Untitled Cameron Crowe movie.
Local news sources – including Hawaii News Now and KITV – in Hawaii reported last weekend that Cameron Crowe was wrapping up production on his still untitled movie in Hawaii. Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone star in the movie and Rachel will have a supporting role. Other co-stars include John Krasinski, Bill Murray, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin. The movie has been filming in Hawaii for the last 3 months and Rachel wrapped up filming her scenes a few days before Emma and Bradley filmed their final scenes.
KITV is reporting that the movie will be released in the second half of 2014. It was reported before that the movie is expected to get a 2014 release.

THR is reporting that John Krasinski is in talks to join the still Untitled Cameron Crowe Project. He will reportedly play Rachel’s husband in the movie.
John Krasinski is in talks to join Cameron Crowe’s untitled romantic comedy.
The Office actor will join a star-heavy cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, Alec Baldwin and Bill Murray.

Krasinski will play a military man married to McAdams, who is playing Cooper’s ex-wife.

THR is reporting that Canadian actor Jay Baruchel is joining the still untitled Hawaii/Cameron Crowe which is previously known as “Deep Tiki” or “Volcano Romance”. The Wrap is reporting that actor Bill Murray is also in talks to join the movie. They will join Rachel, Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone. Baruchel will reportedly play a supporting role as Cooper’s step brother. It has been confirmed before by Cameron Crowe’s official website that Alec Baldwin, Danny McBride and Jaeden Lieberher already signed on for (supporting) roles in the movie. Young actor Lieberher will play the role of Mitchell. The movie began filming in Hawaii on September 26th and Rachel was photographed on set last week.
It was reported last month by Deadline that Albert Brooks signed on to join the voice cast of “The Little Prince” as one of the film’s villains. He joins Rachel, James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Jeff Bridges, Benicio Del Toro, Paul Giamatti, and Mackenzie Foy. The animated movie is currently in production in Montreal and is most likely to be released in 2015.

Hi’Lawe Productions and Scott Rudin Productions in association with Vinyl Films are set to begin production on the Sony Pictures romance adventure feature film formerly titled “Deep Tiki”. The project is now going by the working titles of “Untitled Cameron Crowe Project” or “Untitled Hawaii”. In addition to the principal actor casting taking place in Los Angeles, an open casting call has been scheduled in Honolulu, Hawaii for people interested in working as fully paid extras and possibly featured background actors. All ages and types are needed, an no experience is necessary. Also, there are no fees or costs whatsoever to attend the casting call or to be cast in the film. Shooting will get underway on September 26, 2013.
