“Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” Premiere Videos + Reviews

We added the first released videos of the “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” LA premiere in our media archive. The premiere was held earlier this week, since Rachel only has a small appearance she did not do many press interviews during the premiere but we still found a few of them.

Rachel talked with Entertainment Tonight, Associated Press and E! Online. We added a few more videos so be sore to watch them all in our media archive.

The first reviews are released after the Los Angeles and London premiere, the reviews are generally positive. The Huffington Post and Empire Online both mention Rachel in their reviews:

“Ironically it is the supporting characters who provide most of the entertainment value this time around. In her comparatively brief screen-time, McAdams exhibits far more personality and roguish charm in her few moments here than she did in all of the previous film (freed from the constraints of being the de-facto love interest, McAdams relishes the chance to go full-villain).”
-Scott Mendelson (Huffington Post)

“Rachel McAdams, who returns briefly as treacherous Irene Adler, did more with less first time around.”
-Ian Nathan (Empire Online)

Latest press high lights: “The Vow”, “SH2″ & More

This week gave us little bits and pieces of news and we decided to wait and make one update for you with all of them included. Be sure to read the latest press high lights below.

• A few months ago we first reported that the book “The Vow: The Kim and Krickitt Carpenter Story“, on which “The Vow” starring Rachel and Channing Tatum was based, was getting a re-release with the new title “The Vow: The True Events That Inspired The Movie“. The release date was moved to February 10, 2012 – the same day as the movie release. The new cover artwork was also released, they used the same photo as the new poster.

Now available in trade paper with a new chapter and photo insert, The Vow is the true story that inspired the upcoming major motion picture of the same name starring Rachel McAdams (The Notebook), Channing Tatum (Dear John), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), and Academy Award winner Jessica Lange.
More information

• The untitled Terrence Malick projects remains untitled, the rumored title was “The Burial” but producers Sarah Green and Bill Pohlad recently confirmed this title was false.

“It is not called The Burial. We don’t know what The Burial is. Somebody else attached that name, but there is no movie that we’re working on called The Burial.”

“Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” Movie Clips + B-Roll

We are getting closer to the release of the highly anticipated “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” and Warner Bros released even more goodies for us. They released a bunch of movie clips including two featuring Rachel as Irene Adler and the full b-roll footage which gives us a behind the scenes look of the movie.

We are happily suprised Rachel is featured in so much released footage of the movie since she is only returning for a cameo/small appearance. Earlier this week the first production stills were released and the promotion tour starts today. We are not sure Rachel will do promotion since her role is small, but we hope she will. The movie will hit theaters in the US/UK December 16.

Update: We just added the high defenition screen captures of all the videos in our gallery, we really love the b-roll video since we love the chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. and Rachel – they always seem to have a good time working together.
