Rachel is on the cover of Vogue January 2010. The interview and behind the scenes video footage has been released and I think this is one of my favorite Rachel editorials so far. She looks so lovely.

On Mean Girls, which was shot in Toronto, and Lindsay Lohan: “I just remember marveling about how much she knew as an actor, how much she understood. She did very few takes and had this naturalness to her. And beyond that, I was 26 at the time. I’d be asked, ‘Where do you go out?’ ” (McAdams throws her hands up in bafflement and defeat.) “I felt like I was in a different place at that time.”

RACHEL McAdams believes her success is down to luck.

The actress — who stars in British director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming flick Sherlock Holmes — knows she is talented but is adamant she is guided in large part by fate.

“There’s a balance of some hand guiding you somewhere, and at the same time your own free will and taking the bull by the horns,” she said.

“I do think it’s a combination of the two that gets you wherever you are. And I think there’s a little bit of control, but not much!”

McAdams, 31, recently revealed that she begged Ritchie for a role in his eagerly awaited film.

“I hunted Guy down and camped on his doorstep until he relented!” the actress told Total Film magazine. “OK, no, we had a chat in a garden and it went from there… Fortunately, it worked out for me.”

Rachel was on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien yesterday (December 4th) were she did a really nice interview for the promotion of “Sherlock Holmes”. I’ve added the full interview in our media archive, be sure to check them out. Previews and links are below.
