Deadline is reporting that Rachel signed with WME. She was previously with UTA and was repped by The Gersh Agency in the beginning of her career.

Rachel McAdams has signed with WME. The actress comes into the agency fold after starring most recently in the untitled Cameron Crowe film with Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper and Bill Murray, and after starring in the Anton Corbjin-directed A Most Wanted Man, the adaptation of the John Le Carre novel that stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright, Daniel Bruhl and Willem Dafoe. McAdams, who had been without an agent since leaving UTA last April, continues to be managed by Shelley Browning at Magnolia.

Let’s hope this also means Rachel will sign on to another project this year. Filming for “Every Thing Will Be Fine” is expected to wrap up this months. She is expected to start filming “Passengers” alongside Keanu Reeves in Berlin in April.

I’m really excited! Looking at the 2009 WME list up on Variety’s website, there’s a lot of great well-establish actors on their list, but there aren’t a lot of young up-and-coming actresses that have box office appeal like Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain that can play that early 30s and mid 30s roles.

Plus, I’m really liking the comments at the Deadline article so far, esp since most of Deadline commentators are from the industry. So fingers crossed that this will mean good things for Rachel in 2014!

Ok- Can I get some clarity? Is her agency still Magnolia or WME ( William Morris Entertainment). If thats the case, shes at the same agency as Mark Schwawn ( Executive Producer of One Tree Hill) and Chad Michael Murray? Is still even dating Ryan Gosling according to the old rumors from Nov 2013?

@ Anna B – Rachel’s agency is currently WME and her management is Magnolia. I have no idea if Schawn or Murray are repped by WME. So you can still send fan mail to her Magnolia address. We are not posting rumors about her dating life since we focus on her career :-) But the tabloids are reporting a lot of “stories” lately and if you want our opinion we say most – or maybe even all of them – are made up ;-) I hope this helps.
