We added new and unseen photos of Rachel on set of the still untitled Terrence Malick project. They are from November 10th, 2010 in Oklahoma. Rachel was seen on set with Ben Affleck. Thank to heatherjodavis for the photos and Abby for pointing them out for me. It’s good to have (fan) coverage of Rachel on set of this movie, since it’s hard to find any coverage at all. The movie is expected to release in 2012.

Rachel was seen yesterday (June 28th) out & about shopping in Toronto with Michael Sheen and his daughter Lily Mo. We added a batch of photos in our gallery. She looks stunning wearing a cute dress and sunglasses.

Rachel was seen out & about in Toronto this weekend, after spending over a week in LA. There are multiple twitter fan sightings of Rachel in her hometown Toronto. She was also seen with Michael Sheen. We decided to make a new album in our candid section were we will post photos of various fan sightings of Rachel in a year. We added two photos of Rachel from yesterday, the first one of Rachel & Michael in the subway (TTC) and the second one of Rachel at a Menchie. You can follow us @rachelmonline for the latest news and updates, but we also re-tweet the latest fan sightings of Rachel.

At this moment no official confirmation or more news about the current possible project we reported you earlier on. Let’s hope we can update you with at least one confirmation for a future project. We recently updated the In Development page with the latest projects.

We reported you a few times with box office numbers for “Midnight in Paris” since it broke records and is still going strong after it’s limited release on May 20th, 2011. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the movie is Woody Allen’s Highest-Grossing Film in 25 Years, surpassing “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and “Match Point” and the movie is maybe on it’s way to become Woody Allen’s top-grossing movie of all time.

Midnight in Paris now has the potential to become Woody Allen’s top-grossing film of all time at the domestic box office, as well as Sony Pictures Classics’ biggest title after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Through Wednesday, Midnight in Paris has grossed $23.3 million at the domestic box office, eclipsing the $23.2 million grossed each by Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Match Point. Midnight’s aim now is to beat the $40.1 million earned 25 years ago by Hannah and Her Sisters.

Midnight in Paris, with a diverse cast including Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard and Kathy Bates, is one of those rare specialty films that expands beyond the art house crowd to general audiences. The movie opened in only six theaters May 20 to score one of the best location averages of all time ($99,834) at the domestic box office. Now, it’s playing in more than 1,000 theaters.

Today we can update you with another new future project, earlier this week we reported Rachel was considered for “Ecstasia“ from writer/director Wayne Kramer.

Now the Hollywood Reporter is reporting David O Russell (The Figther) is testing actresses, including Rachel, this weekend for his upcoming movie “The Silver Linings Playbook” with Mark Wahlberg.

The next few days may very well determine which actress gets the golden ticket to star in The Silver Linings Playbook, director David O Russell’s follow-up to his Oscar-winning comeback film, The Fighter.

The Weinstein Co. movie again reteams Russell with his Fighter star Mark Wahlberg in the story of a man who suffers from a mental collapse and is released from a health facility determined to find the silver linings in his life.

The hot Hollywood role of the moment is that of a depressed woman who, when her husband dies, goes on a sexual spree, even at the cost of her job. She befriends the man and becomes his love interest.

According to insiders, Russell is intensely screen-testing the following in-demand actresses in Los Angeles starting today and going into the weekend: Elizabeth Banks, Kirsten Dunst, Blake Lively, Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Andrea Riseborough and Olivia Wilde.

Sources also say Jennifer Lawrence may be in the running as well but that is unclear.

Russell is eyeing an August start date.

The Tracking Board posted an article about the possibility of Rachel and James McAvoy starring in the upcoming drama “Ecstasia“, written and directed by Wayne Kramer. The article is only accessible for subscribers of the site, but thanks to a James McAvoy forum we have the article.

We’re hearing James McAvoy and Rachel McAdams are both the frontrunners for Relativity Media and Wayne Kramer’s upcoming sci-fi love tale ECSTASIA. The film, which is ambitious both in scope and idea, takes place in an alternate universe where love doesn’t exist, but can be artificially simulated through a very expensive procedure known as “commitment”, which implants both people with computer chips that link up. The story follows one couple as they struggle to make their monthly “commitment” payment, or forever be turned off, and lost to one another.

McAvoy, who was most recently seen in “X:Men: First Class” is currently in preproduction on “Welcome To the Punch”. McAdams, who was most recently seen in Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris” has four films set for release, including “The Vow” and the sequel to “Sherlock Holmes”.

The story centers on a time in the future when love only exists through artificial creation at a high price, through a procedure simply known as “commitment,” and follows a couple who goes to desperate measures to try to afford the high price of love.

We reported earlier Rachel is also considered for the upcoming “Luna” project from Doug Liman, but no official cast is announced as of yet. You can read the full list of in development projects over here. Keep in mind no official future project is confirmed for Rachel as of yet, but it’s good to know she is still considered for a bunch of project.

We have a small update today, we added some additions to the “Midnight in Paris” section in our gallery. First of all one new production still was released, we added the medium quality version in our gallery. With the expansion of the movie world wide the international movie poster are coming in slowly, we added two new international posters.

We added various magazine clippings from Rachel in magazines from the US from the last few weeks including from The Hollywood Reporter, Hello! Canada and US Weekly. US Weekly published a new candid photo of Rachel with Michael Sheen and his daughter Lily Mo and his parents out & about in LA on June 12th. We are trying to find the actual photo/set.

We didn’t publish magazine clippings before, but we are planning to change that. We will try to gather as much magazine clippings from US but also international magazine and add them in our gallery. If you would like to donate some yourself, feel free to contact us.

“Midnight in Paris” was expanding weekly since the limited New York/LA release on May 20th after the successes of the opening weekend and Cannes film festival opening. It was the 13th best opening weekend of all time.

This weekend Sony Classics will expand the movie to 1038 screens according to Deadline, making it the widest-released film of Allen’s career. You can find out if the movie will come to a theater near you via the official website. Earlier the Hollywood Reporter reported the movie is breaking records, also overseas. The movie is still not world wide released but at this moment release dates for outside the US are announced until December of this year. If you live overseas, keep an eye on your local cinema website for a release date.

The movie still has a high rate at Rotten Tomatoes with a 92% ‘fresh’ rate of critics and a 77% ‘fresh’ rate from the audience.
