This is the official kick-off for a new project for Rachel McAdams Online: “Rachel McAdams Exclusive” which is a countdown to celebrate our upcoming 7 Year Anniversary in June. We will try to post regular updates with a RMO Exclusive stories like fan encounter, interviews, or another (suprise) update related to Rachel and her career with people who met or worked with Rachel throughout the years. It’s not only a celebrating for our anniversary, but also for the wonderful career Rachel had so far, and will have in the future.

Our first exclusive is with actor Jett Anderson. He is Rachel’s co-star in the upcoming untitled Terrence Malick Project. Accroding to IMDB he plays Brad, Rachel’s character’s husband. As you may know Jane is the character Rachel is playing in the movie. Read our exclusive interview below:

While Rachel was on tour for the promotion of “Morning Glory” she was seen arraving at the Meurice Hotel in Paris on January 24th. We missed these candids due to the massive promotion tour, but we recently added them in our gallery.

Rachel is nominated alongside Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Jay Baruchel and Nina Dobrev for the 31st Annual Genie award in the catagory: User’s Choice. Fans can vote for their User’s Choice hosted by Hollywoodlife. Be sure to visit the voting site and vote for Rachel!

Genie Awards are the Canadian version of the Oscars/Academy Awards. Rachel was nominated before for her supporting role in “Perfect Pie” in 2002 but she never won a Genie Award (yet).

Entertainment Weekly gave us the first look at Rachel and Channing Tatum in “The Vow” and now the Hollywood Reporter now gives us the first look of Rachel and co-star Ben Affleck in the still Untitled Terrence Malick project. The photo is also featured in the current issue of the Hollywood Reporter.

The photo from the director’s next top-secret film is featured in the current issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. We try to add the magazine scans as soon as possible. The release is set for 2012.

Reclusive director Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life doesn’t unspool until May 27, but he’s already shot his next film: an untitled romance starring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams.

The movie with a top secret plot also features Javier Bardem and Olga Kurylenko.

We recently opened up our very own press archive with interviews, articles and blogs related to Rachel. Since a few weeks we decided to move the press archive as network site and insert it as a library in the main site. You can now visit our press archive via the library which is now part of our main navigation (which you can find above ^).

We already have over 135 posts in our library with interviews, articles and bloggings related to Rachel from 2003 up until now. So it’s a nice collection of press releases related to Rachel and gives you hours of reading pleasure. With the release of “Morning Glory” behind us and a few months until “Midnight in Paris” premieres at Cannes I thought I do a little bit of searching around for possible next projects for Rachel. The latest sighting of Rachel was in Ireland, and I think it’s safe to say the is enjoying her well deserved break since she almost worked non-stop last year on “Midnight in Paris“, “The Vow“, the still untitled Terrence Mallick project, promotion for “Morning Glory” and her cameo in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows“.

• We reported a few months ago that Rachel was mentioned for the cast of “Welcome To People” alongside Chris Pine and Meryl Streep. Only Pine made it to the officially cast. She was also mentioned for “We Have Always Lived in the Castle” alongside Saoirse Ronan and Michael Douglas and “Oz: The Return to Emerald City” but no news or development status yet.

• Rachel was also mention for “You Are Here” directed by Matthew Weiner with Jack Black, Matt Dillon, Renée Zellweger and Rachel was offered a role. This project is still in development, no official cast has been announced.

• For almost two years now Rachel is mentioned in the involvement in “Ness“, the adaption of “Torso“. Last we heard it’s still not dead yet, but the studios still don’t gave it the green light (yet).

• Last March Rachel was mentioned as the female lead in “The Orphanage“. Mark Pellington revealed they didn’y find the female lead yet.

• Rachel is mentioned for a new project “Honeymoon With Harry” directed by Jonathan Demme alongside Bradley Cooper as Todd Cartwright (Co-star of “Wedding Crashers“) and Robert De Niro as Harry Everett. If this project is happening Rachel would be playing Haley Everett, daughter of De Niro. The plot line can be found below, the status of this project is in development as we speak.

A recovering self-destructive womanizer loses his fiancee in a car accident two days before their wedding and ends up going on his honeymoon with the fiancee’s father, who detests him, so they can scatter her ashes.

• Rachel is also mention for “A Little Something for Your Birthday” and she is attached to this project for over a year now. It’s directed by Michael Engler and so far only Rachel is mentioned in the cast. The status for this project is also in development.

A clothing designer struggles to find love and success after turning thirty.

Remember these projects are still in development, a lot can happen in only a second in film industry. Sometimes it takes years to get the green light, and if they get the green light it could happen Rachel is already filming a new project. But it’s nice to read she is -somewhat- attached to new projects. Yesterday we already gave you the first look of Rachel and co-star Channing Tatum in “The Vow” with First Look magazine feature (which is in newsstand now) of Entertainment Weekly. The magazine just released a gallery with First Look’s production stills including the one of “The Vow“; it’s the same still they used for the magazine but now we have it in better quality. “The Vow” is scheduled to release around Valentine’s day of 2012.

Entertainment Weekly gave the first exclusive preview of Rachel and her co-star Channing Tatum in their upcoming movie “The Vow” which wrapped up filming in Toronto and Chicago late last year. The movie is set to release February 10, 2012, so it’s almost a year away but it’s definitely a project to look forward to. In The Vow (out Valentine’s Day 2012), McAdams stars as a woman who suffers a traumatic brain injury in a car accident and wakes up to find the past five years of her memories erased. During that time, she had married a handsome, loving man (Tatum) – but now she has no idea who he is. “We really are the sum of our memories. When that’s taken away, what do we have left?” says director Michael Sucsy (HBO’s Grey Gardens). “It’s a romantic story about a guy who has to win back his soul mate.”

We finally managed to add the captures of Rachel’s role in “Guilt by Association” (2002) in our gallery. The movie aired for the first time back in 2002 and was one of Rachel’s first roles on television after appearing in “The Famous Jett Jackson“. After Rachel and Michael Sheen were spotted Friday at Dublin Ireland Airport they attended the University College Dublin. Thanks to the social network sites, like twitter, we now have fan photos of Rachel and Michael Sheen during their Ireland trip.
