According to Proweek and Cinemablend Rachel, Meryl Streep and Chris Pine are mentioned as the cast for the upcoming Alex Kurtzman project ‘Welcome To People‘. Nothing is officially confirmed, but it would be so great if this is true! I am a hudge fan of Meryl Streep.

You know Alex Kurtzman as one of the most sought after writers in Hollywood. He co-wrote Mission: Impossible III, Transformers, and Star Trek along with a lot of really terrible movies that we’d all like to forget about like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He’s already established himself as a crack screenwriter, now he’s taking a stab at directing with a movie called Welcome to People.

It’s a title so vague it could be applied to almost any movie, but in this case it’s a movie about a man who must deliver the $150,000 his deceased father has willed to a sister he never met. The movie’s still in early pre-production but Production Weekly says they have a line on who he may be looking to cast on the film, and it’s an A-list group. They say “Chris Pine, Rachel McAdams & Meryl Streep have been mentioned for the cast.” I’m not sure what “mentioned” means exactly, I guess it means Prod Weekly reserves the right to be entirely wrong and means you should consider this nothing more than a rumor until there’s an official confirmation.

The official book cover for the novel of ‘Morning Glory‘ has been released online with a brand new promotion photo of Rachel. The novel is based on the film’s screenplay wich Rachel is the lead of. You can pre-order the novel, written by Diana Peterfreund, via Random House. The novel will be released October 19th a few weeks before the official release of the movie wich is november 12th in the US.

Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard is currently promoting her latest project ‘Little White Lies‘ at the Toronto International Film Festival and she has high praise for her co-star (in ‘Midnight in Paris‘) Rachel:

“Rachel McAdams is one of my favourite actresses,” Cotillard said during an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, where her latest project, “Little White Lies,” is debuting. “And unfortunately we didn’t really work together because we are in the same movie but we don’t have any scenes together. “I really hope I will have the opportunity and the great chance one day to work with her. I think she’s amazing.”

Rachel was seen departing from the ‘Beautiful Boy‘ premiere yesterday at the Tononto International Film Festival. A bunch of photos have been added in our gallery. She looks really stunning, I so love her hair this way. I am not sure she walked the red carpter of this event or also attend the You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger premiere but if so, I will update you later on.

Rachel donated her image to the American Library Association among many other starts in their new ‘Read‘ campaign to convey the simple but powerful message: READ. All the celebrities hold a book of their choice and Rachel is holding ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife‘ and as you probably know Rachel played Claire, the main character, in the film based on the nationally bestselling book. Mr. Will-W is a blogger located in Tornoto were ‘The Vow‘ is currently filmed and he visited the set on september 6th were he met Rachel and her co-star Channing Tatum. He wrote a nice blog post about it, you can read it below, with some intresting information. It’s a big possibility Rachel will attend the You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger gala of this years Toronto International Filmfestival this sunday. He also confirmed Rachel is wearing a red-haired wig. According to him, the movie wraps October 22, 2010. You can see the fanphotos he took in our gallery.

Canada’s sweetheart Rachel McAdams, as many of you are aware, is back in her hometown of Toronto shooting Michael Sucsy’s The Vow. Although we’ve seen plenty of her handsome co-star Channing Tatum around town, McAdams has been pretty low-key. There have been only been a few Twitter reports of McAdams these past couple weeks riding her Bike through Yorkville, or going out for a stroll in Kensington Market.

I went by this evening to visit the set of The Vow in the city’s Financial District, where they were taking advantage of the reduced traffic with it being Labour Day. McAdams looked absolutely gorgeous sporting a red-haired wig and a navy blue dress, heading back and forth between her Trailer and the Set. And thanks to a wonderful sweetheart on the Crew, I was lucky enough to chat with the talented actress and snap a photo together before she headed out for the day…

Rachel was seen on set of ‘The Vow‘ in Toronto, so I guess it’s official she joined the cast. She will star alongside Channing Tatum and the movie is set to release in 2011. You can watch some photos in our gallery. She looks adorable.

Update: More photos have been added of Rachel on set of ‘The Vow‘ from the same day. Looks like she is going to wear a wig for her role because Rachel was seen with dark brown hair. Either way, she looks stunning.
