Rachel is back in Canada for the holidays and I think she is taking a break from the “Sherlock Holmes” promotion tour since she doesn’t have any new projects planned. Rachel was seen in London, Ontario on December 23 in the Taphouse Bar, you can read a blogging from Lainey Gossip below.

Her movie was a great success this weekend at the box office. But instead of New York or LA, she spent Christmas close to home in London, Ontario. Here are some super cute photos of the super cute Rachel McAdams this weekend hitting up the Taphouse Bar gamely posing for photos with a group of young men in full Olympic torch gear as the flame, on its way to Vancouver for the Games, made its way through town.

True to reputation, they said she was as sweet as ever. Jacek loved looking at her in Sherlock Holmes. She really does pop onscreen.

According to the 10million dollar increase from last year Christmas movie opening ‘Marley & Me’.  Sherlock Holmes has been placed at the top of the weekend box office.

“Sherlock Holmes,” the Warner Bros. Pictures film about the 19th century super sleuth, had the best Christmas Day film debut ever yesterday, as receipts for all movies playing also set an industry mark.
The figures may place the weekend among the top five highest-grossing ever and would cap a week in which annual film revenue in the U.S. and Canada crossed the $10 billion mark for the first time ever on Dec. 22.

Troy Jensen made up Rachel for the Sherlock Holmes press conference this (Dec) month.  He posted the photo and makeup information tonight on his blog.

This look I created on Rachel McAdams is fresh, pretty, and for a girl who wants that California girl look but at the same time look dazzling for a holiday party. I’m inspired by a lot of looks this season but I wanted to create something that was a little bit more simple than what I’ve been putting out for the girl who wants to keep it fresh and pretty this holiday season. Here is some speculation on someone Rachel might be dating. Please assume this as a rumor until it is official! :)

It’s no secret that love comes and goes quickly in Tinseltown, and Rachel McAdams may have found a new gentleman caller just in time for the holidays.

According to a report, the “Notebook” hottie has taken a special liking to Jude Law’s personal assistant Ben Jackson after meeting at the premiere of “Sherlock Holmes” last week.

This past weekend Rachel and Ben were spotted spending a ton of time together in New York City, hitting up book stores and looking very smitten.

Jackson used to be a model and could serve as a less-dramatic and therefore more stable mate for Miss McAdams.

Rachel did an interview with Moviefone Unscripted for the promotion of “Sherlock Holmes” were she answered question fans send in. Rachel doesn’t have any next projects at the moment, she said; “I don’t really have any plans as of right now [...] Time of, yeah, maybe just a little bit of time off at home at Canada were I live and see what the future holds for me.” The interview and screencaptures can be found in our media archive and gallery.

I’ve added the scans of Rachel in the Vogue January 2010 in our gallery. She looks so stunning, I think this is my favorite cover and editorial so far. I’ve also added two new outtakes of the shoot; the outtake of the cover and a larger outtake of one of the previous outtakes.
